Yes, you heard right y'all Genndy Tartakovsky quit Sony's Popeye. Really sad to say the least. The article says that Genndy wasn't happy with production at Sony animation, to summarize his thoughts. That's really sad to me because I love popeye's cartoons. I remember I used to stay up late at night as a kid, on Cartoon Network late at night they showed older cartoons. One of those shows was Popeye. Genndy Tartakovsky's Cartoons were a huge part of the cartoons I watched growing up. Knowing Genndy Tartakovsky had the love and history he did with it made me excited.
