My 2¢ is a series were I discuss various things that comes to mind.
As fair warning this is 100% my opinion.
To me this has to be one of the dumbest re-brands ever. A name like the The Hub rolls off the tongue better than Discovery Family ever will. If you look at the legacy of Discovery's Channels for kids, this is the channel's third re-branding. First it was Discovery Kids, Second The HUB (Which to me was the better name.), and now Discovery Family. This obviously won't change the content on the channel, but it's a huge hit towards the channel's brand recognition. It might seem like a small change, but I feel this may hurt the channel in the long run. Please click the links to read the articles below. Also please tell me what you think in the comments below.
